Between 1996 and 2001, Mr. Hampel was a Vice President and Regional Manager in the Credit Review Department of U.S. Bancorp, where he supervised a team of analysts responsible for evaluating the credit quality and loan administration of the bank’s Southeast Wisconsin region. From 1983 to 1996, he held various positions with increasing levels of responsibility in the Audit and Credit Review departments. Mr. Hampel performed numerous operational and compliance audits and was responsible for the due diligence and analysis of a number of bank acquisitions, including assessment of operations, loan portfolios and compliance functions. Mr. Hampel is fluent in English and German and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
