Jill's responsibilities include active management of the firm's equity and fixed income portfolios, and the asset allocation process. Her primary focus is on the factors influencing the equity and fixed income selection process within the firm. These factors include the macroeconomic outlook and its effect on the overall financial markets and specific industries, the impact of these factors on interest rates and asset allocation decisions, and finally, a focus on individual company fundamentals.

Prior to joining Arcataur Capital, Jill managed a variety of private accounts for the previous five years and served on the Arcataur Capital Advisory Board. From 1990-2012 she was at Mason Street Advisors/Northwestern Mutual. From 2007-2012 she managed mid-cap portfolios for Northwestern Mutual’s general account, pension fund and mutual/variable annuity funds with peak assets totaling $2.8 billion.  From 1995-2006 Jill was responsible for managing the company’s general account and pension small cap portfolios with $1.2 billion. In both capacities, Jill established a long-term growth strategy with lower turnover and lower risk than industry benchmarks. She was also a member of the asset allocation committee for the company’s pension account and variable annuity Asset Allocation and Balanced Fund products for fourteen years.  While at NM, Jill also performed fundamental company research across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual, Jill was an equity research analyst with Sanford C. Bernstein in New York.
